How the Rescue Process Works

A clean, staged route from uncertainty to progress. You can stop after Stage 1 with a written plan or continue into redesign and delivery under a fresh appointment.

Stage 1

Independent Status Review

You send what you have (drawings, emails, planning refs, site photos). We identify gaps, risks and what is usable. You receive a concise written action plan.

Stage 2

Rectification Strategy

Where needed: corrections, rework, coordination with structural engineer and consultants, planning resubmission, compliance improvements. Everything scoped clearly before work starts.

Stage 3

Architect-Led Delivery

If you proceed, we move under our own appointment terms, scope and PI cover. We can support tender, contractor queries and site inspections as required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you take over from existing drawings?

Often yes, but we will first review what exists and advise what can be relied on. If drawings need to be corrected, they will be reworked and issued under our own appointment.

Will you contact my previous designer or firm?

Only if you request it and it helps obtain missing information. Our default approach is to work from what you have and rebuild a clean project record going forward.

Do you help with planning and Building Regulations?

Yes. Stage 1 includes a high-level sense-check. If you proceed to Stage 2, we can prepare planning submissions and coordinate Building Regulations packages where appropriate.

Are you connected to any other company involved?

No. This is an independent architectural service provided through our own practice, under our own professional standards and insurance arrangements.

What if my project has planning approval already?

Great - that's a solid starting point. I'll review the approved drawings, check they're buildable and compliant, and advise on any amendments or Building Regulations work needed to proceed.

How quickly can you start?

Stage 1 reviews typically begin within a few days of receiving your documents. Turnaround for the written action plan is usually 5-7 working days depending on project complexity.
